2021 Clinical Supervision Training to fulfill the requirements for obtaining LPC-S from the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners.

This training provides LPC’s will the required training necessary to obtain the “Supervisor” designation with the LPC Board of Examiners.
This training will offer instruction in philosophy, methods, and techniques of supervision for mental health practitioners. Participants will have the opportunity for practical applications of the theories and techniques of clinical supervision as part of the training activities.
NOTE: ALL participants are required to hold a minimum of one supervision session with another professional between the initial training days and the follow-up day. They are to videotape this supervision session. The videotape will be viewed and critiqued during the follow-up day of the training.
Those individuals attending and successfully completing this workshop will be granted 25 continuing education hours approved by NBCC and the Louisiana LPC Board.
* COVID-19 Precautions: This is an in-person training where precautions will be taken including room sanitizing before and after each day of training, social distancing of participants and trainers, and masks will be worn by both participants and trainers when moving around building. Masks can be removed only while sitting at designated seats during training. Hand sanitizer and cleaning materials will be available throughout the training days. Please wear a mask when entering the building. No participant will be admitted without a mask on their face.
